Our Story

A Surgeon and his Team of Talented Makers.

We are a small shop of side-hustling makers, crafting metal goods the way they ought to be made. We proudly stand behind our products, as they directly represent our talent as a craftsman. Our passion is helping you capture the moments and emotions of your life in the form of steel. Around here, customers are family.

Thank you for supporting us and growing our company into success.

-The Think Metal Team-

Their shop evolved from a passion for creativity and a desire for a tangible, service based business. When they first began planning for our new business in 2015, Seth was awaiting for admittance into medical school and Jordan was many months pregnant with their first child. They wanted to run a business that involved working with their hands and they sure found that in Think Metal. While there is a significant amount of digital work involved in the process (design, customer service, sales, product development), the hands-on work is a shop-lover's dream. From plasma-cutting, to grinding, welding, painting, polishing, and even shipping - there is no dull part of their process and they absolutely love doing what they do. Getting love and appreciation from customers fuels the passion they have to create.

Seth attended medical school and impressively kept Think Metal flourishing for 3 years in Denver, CO while studying to become a surgeon. In the final year of medical school, he relocated the business back to his hometown to allow his close friends help him grow the business and share the workload. Dustin and Thomas have strong backgrounds in customer service, supporting the backbone of the business where customers come first. Given the opportunity to work with any of the Think Metal team members, you will be sure to experience firsthand the deep-dwelling passion they have for providing high class service to others. Should you be in the area of Canyon, Texas at any point, reach out to the team members and stop by for a visit. Their shop is an extension of their home, and friends of Think Metal are most welcome.
